SHOW DAY INFORMATION
Photography and Filming:
We will have a photographer and filmographer on site, however CHERRY BOMBOMBS will be allowed to take as many pictures as you like of the performances FROM THE BALCONY. You MUST get the permission of the performer to post to Facebook etc. Audience members will NOT be allowed to take photos.
All photos and videos will be sent to performers in the weeks following the show.
Hair and Makeup:
We will not be having hair stylists or makeup artists booked for this showcase. Please make your own arrangements.
If you would like your stylist to come to the theatre, that is okay. Please do arrange this yourselves, but let Kimmie know if you decide this (including stylist name and time they are arriving) so that arrangements for a location can be made.
Costume:
Costumes for class choreography will be confirmed closer to the time. Please note as a minimum for every routine, you must wear tights, underwear (over your tights is fine), and nipple tassels/pasties if removing your bra.
Audience:
Anyone over the age of 18 can attend, please note partial nudity (nipple tassels) will be included in the performance.
Parking:
There are two smallish car parks available at the venue. We are likely to fill these up ourselves, however there is also on the road parking available around the venue.
Dressing Rooms:
We will be allocating dressing rooms for this showcase to help with numbers and spacing. We will group classes/performers together as much as possible.
Props and Stage:
Please try and limit the size and number of props as much as possible. If you are unsure about props, please contact Maxi.
Waiting to Perform:
You MUST be in the downstairs dressing room TWO ROUTINES before your performance so the Stage Manager can get you. Please ensure you are QUIET in this room – you can be as loud as you like in the upstairs dressing rooms.
Watching:
We have a private area for you to watch the performance free of charge up on the balcony looking down on the stage (fabulous view).
Food and drink:
Please bring food and drink to sustain you throughout the day.
Tea and coffee will be available, but do bring your own mug!
You may have ONE alcoholic drink before going on stage.
The venue can be hot and cold, so it is advisable to bring layers with you and a hoodie/jumper.
After the show:
Please make sure you take ALL costumes and props with you
Leave the dressing rooms as you found them and put all rubbish in the bins provided.
Performers are also asked to help stack away the chairs at the end of the night. These have to be put away in the correct location and Maxine will be on hand to direct you where this is.
We also ask you help to tidy the main hall area, clear away rubbish/take glasses up to the bar so that we can all enjoy the evening afterwards.
